Paying Your Target REDcard Bill Online
We were very surprised as we embarked on our assignment to investigate how to best pay your Target REDcard bill online that there seems to be no information available at Target.com regarding a way to do this at their website. This discovery is so surprising to us that we're afraid we've missed something in our research effort.
Most large retailers like Target who offer their own branded credit card like Target does with it's REDcard brand also encourage their card customers to manage their credit card activity online and to pay their credit card bill online as well. This is exactly what we expected to find with Target regarding their REDcard...but our research at Target.com came up empty in this regard.
The information that we did find at Target.com about the REDcard was more related to informing Target customers about a relationship that REDcard has established with Billeo to enable REDcard cardholder to use their Target REDcard to pay other billers, like AT&T, Comcast, DirectTV, Sprint PCS and others.
So, not being able to get any hard information on REDcard online payment at Target.com, we next visited the MyCheckFree e-bill oriented online payment site to see if they had Target or REDcard listed as a supported biller. They did not.
We're at a loss for the first time in our history here at Paymentinfocenter.com as to the advice we can offer to our readers regarding options for paying your REDcard bill online.
The only thing that we are able to offer up as guidance at this time is that if your bank or financial institution offers free online bill pay services to you, that you can enable your Target REDcard account at your bank's bill pay site and make electronic payments to Target REDcard that way.
If any of you can offer up additional information or insight as to ways to make REDcard payments at the Target.com site, please visit our Contact Us page and send us an email with any information that you can share on this topic. We'll then update these pages and make the information generally available to others who are likely as surprised and confused as we are about the lack of available information on this topic.
Note: More information has been made available on this topic. Please read on.
I had a helpful reader email me to tell me that she was able to enroll online at Target.com where there is an ability to use your checking account to make electronic payments your REDcard account. Why they don't more actively promote this capability on their website remains a mystery.
I emailed the Target customer care group for more details, and I'm attaching the response that I received from them below.

Additional Information:
A second reader (John S) emailed me to let me know that if you follow the Redcards link from the Target.com home page and scroll down to the bottom of that page, you can you will find a Manage My Account link on the left. Clicking on this link opens a page that will allow you to establish a payment account for your Redcard statement.
It is problematic that we were not easily able to locate this functionality when we first examined the Target.com website. Target may want to consider doing some site redesign to help make this important feature easier to locate.
Thanks to both readers for their helpful contributions!
