Our company has had a Sam's credit card for 20 years. My wife opened the account and it was put under her name. I have paid the statements with a company check for that time. I paid the balance in full each month (never a late charge) and I had a $3000 or $4000 limit. I recently (for my bookkeeping purposes) changed the account into my name. I tried to buy a $600.00 camera but the card declined. My account maximum had been lowered to $1200.00 unknown to me. I was told that I had to stay with the $1200 for a few more months and see how I do. How will Sam's know how I do when i pay off the balance each month? I have a very high credit score. I went to Target and bought the same camera for the same amount and they opened a charge account with a $5000 balance and also gave me a $60.00 discount on the purchase. I am now ready to buy a big screen TV. I would like to buy it from Sam's. Does not seem that they have a proper line of credit for a successful businessman.

I have had one of the most frustraating afternoons of my life any thing done with robots for people helping people should be outlawed. To me it is a crime. I have to redile the customer service 5 times before they would accept my numbers to allow me to hear my account information. At long long long long last I gor a real person who did not know anything. I asked to do the phone survey to assure quality customer service and afer 15 minutes holding a dead phone in my hand hung up.
Then I tried to access my account on the Sams Club Discover website and they require a authintication number which allegedly is on the bill. At last I wind up here not a happy camper
As soon as I can contact a compatant person, if one exists at Sam's Discover I will cancel this so called convinence.
The reason I am so intent in contacting an accountant is I have been incorrectly charged $1895.00 on a card that I just activated a month ago. The Sam's credit people don't know anything about the charge or the company that made the charge so they say. Really good customer service... what else can one expect from sam walton and his bunch. sucker that I am I thought give them a chance. yeah they took it.

We have just started using my personal credit card for purchase of parts for my company. This is big money. The maximum was reached quickly and I made a payment of 500 which was used in one day. Now I can't add more money to my account for a while (30 days since the first of 3 payments). I'm told to use myeasypayment.com. When I go there, they need a security password and each time I click on create password, I'm put in a loop that never ends. When I go to help I get a machine that thinks my account number and social security numbers are invalid. I cannot get a human to explain what I need. My company is stalled for ordering parts. !!! It's a shame that Bank America would have a 3 payment bottle neck when I need to make a payment quickly!

I am outraged at the increase in the interest rate on Home Depot credit card to 26.99%. After all, Citigroup has been given taxpayer money, is supposed to be in the process of returning some consumer benefits from OUR money and instead, jacks up the interest! How dare them... and I am not alone. Banking nationalization is looking oh so desirable at this point. I am writing to my, unfortunately, Republican, Congressmen re this issue with Home Depot and Citigroup. I am also writing the government agency online dealing with fraudulent activities.
