AT&T View-N-Pay
You have many options besides mailing a check to make your AT&T payment. One way is to go online at the AT&T website, and register for a user account that will allow you to make your AT&T payment using what they call the AT&T View-N-Pay system. An advantage of paying with the View-N-Pay service is that you can also receive your AT&T ebill on the AT&T website, which you can then view online before making your AT&T payment. You can't pay via credit card at the View-N-Pay site, and must register your checking account with AT&T to use this service. These kinds of online checking account payments are called ACH payments.
Using the AT&T View-N-Pay service to make your payment offers the advantage of allowing you to make your payment at the last minute before it is due and still getting on-time credit towards your account. This model of online bill pay is called the biller direct model.
